We were first introduced to Duck Head when our local rep stopped in Cowboys and Astronauts. Their quality stood out to us immediately, so while building our summer 2026 collection, we fell in love with the Gold School Chino Shorts. The four color ways we brought in were an instant success with our customers. Several customers came back to grab all the colors we stocked.
Duck Head was founded in 1865 in Nashville, Tennessee, by George and Joe O’Bryan. The brothers made durable work pants from surplus U.S. Army canvas "duck" cloth, which inspired the brand name. Famous in the 1980s and 1990s for cotton khaki dress pants, alongside modern lines of shirts, hats, jackets, and bottoms.
