Notes of blue lupine, scarlet flax & snapdragon.
The small town of Sugar Hill, New Hampshire overlooks White Mountain National Forest, and every June the town hosts an annual Lupine Festival to celebrate these prolific flowers. As the lupines come into bloom, the surrounding hillsides are covered in a blanket of purple, blue, and pink hues. Lupines are healing flowers for the land and help rejuvenate depleted soil. Their blooms also contain life-giving pollen and nectar that hummingbirds and bumblebees rely on.
